THE REAL DEAL

I am a self-proclaimed french fry connoisseur and always have a bottle of Cholula in my purse... because you never know when you will need to spice things up a bit! I can quote 99% of Friends episodes. My claim to fame: Taught Ben Affleck what a FDC is (in case you don't know, it stands for Fountain Diet Coke). I am an avid Arizona Wildcat Basketball, LA Kings and Rams Fan. I am always down for a road trip or any excuse to get out of town and see new places!

I received a Bachelor's degree in General Studies with an emphasis in Science, Technology, Health, and Society and a Minor in Psychology from the University of Arizona - proud Wildcat! I worked in the non-profit sector for over 7 years doing special events ranging from small donor gatherings to large scaled galas, concerts, poker tournaments, and film festivals. I am a huge advocate and have a special love for the special needs community. My working mantra is: When the going gets tough, throw your hair in a bun, put some lipstick on, chug some coffee, and conquer the world. I currently live in Los Angeles with my four legged Morkie baby, Phoebe (bring it full circle to my Friends obsession).

When not in work mode, unhurried time with family and friends, travel, and quiet moments to recharge are what I enjoy most. Dancing wins over karaoke every time, so if there’s music and a dance floor, I’ll happily cha-cha the night away. A foodie at heart, travel plans are often inspired by what’s on the menu. Prayer starts each day, connection fuels me, and I’m always happiest when people feel welcomed, seen, and at ease.

Event planning has been woven into my career for more than two decades, alongside extensive experience supporting C-suite executives and founders within corporate and nonprofit environments. Over the years, my work has included planning and supporting events for organizations such as Neutrogena, Johnson & Johnson, Landmark Health, Optum, Blue Zones + Blue Zones Health, and The Gouché Foundation.

These experiences strengthened my ability to manage complex logistics, coordinate across stakeholders, and deliver high-visibility events with clarity and calm.

I am a Southern California native and love to unwind from a long wedding weekend with a nice bold Napa Cabernet with my two fur babies, Aldo & Carter, and the hubby! When I am not in planning mode, you can find me traveling and exploring new places or here locally at Disneyland! I am a reality TV show fanatic, love to line dance to a good country jam, and live for a girls’ night out. I love all things weddings and pretty things so let’s grab a glass of wine or bubbly and start the fun!

I always had a passion for planning but it truly flourished while I attended Cal State Long Beach! I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Event Planning then began working for luxury planning companies ever since. With over eleven years in the hospitality industry and over six years in the special event industry, I still have an adoration for building new relationships and helping others!

I live in Costa Mesa with my 2 kiddos. I love biking to the beach and exploring new coffee shops, restaurants, and fun places in our neighborhood. When I’m not with my fam, I love some solo downtime. My self-care looks a little like: drinking wine, reading a good book, manicures and pedicures, and spending time in the ceramics studio! I have a bohemian hipster vibe and am go with the flow, while also a fan of deadlines, to-do lists and organization!

I was lucky enough to start my event career while interning with our co-owner Meghan. Following my internship and graduation from Cal State Fullerton, I went on to be an events coordinator and board member for a non-profit benefiting youth through skateboarding. After my time there, I worked at a specialty rental company, Archive, where I learned the back end of designing weddings and events from the ground up! I met planners, built relationships, and gained a mentor who helped me navigate my way into the wedding world and gave me the confidence to found and operate a successful design and decor company. While I loved working in the event industry, I truly craved the team atmosphere and wanted to work with a dynamic group, which led me to my home at Intertwined Events.

I truly believe Monica Geller is my alter ego. I love making to-do lists, organizing for fun, and am the definition of an obsessive compulsive cleaner. I grew up in the wine country of Sonoma County where I developed an everlasting love for wine and cheese. I adore all things related to events and creative design! When I’m not working, I love spending time outdoors with my husband and dogs, going to sporting events and exploring new places!

I graduated from St. Mary’s College of California on an athletic scholarship playing basketball and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology. After graduation, I decided to make my way down to sunny Southern California – best decision ever! I took my love of sports into my career where I began in the Athletic Department handling events for UCSD, as well as USD. From there I began coordinating social media and events for a wide array of clients including fashion brands, educational institutions, real estate companies, and more. With many years of experience in event management and marketing, I have helped plan, design, and coordinate countless events. I love the creative design process and seeing all of the planning and hard work come to life!

My ideal reset includes snacks, red light therapy, and an episode or two of Grey’s Anatomy. My longtime obsession with the show even led me to volunteer in the ER as a teenager.

I love attending live sports events and being part of the energy! One of my personal goals is to visit all 30 MLB stadiums. Outside of that, I love traveling and exploring new places, getting a good workout in, and spending time outdoors whenever possible. If I can combine all three, it’s always a win.

I graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations and a minor in Marketing. I began my career working with the Los Angeles Lakers, where I gained hands-on experience supporting large-scale, high-profile events. I later expanded my experience on the stadium side at BMO Stadium, supporting matchdays and major live events

In addition to my professional work, I am an active member of the Los Angeles chapter of Women in Sports & Events (WISE LA) and currently serve on the board as Director of Events, where I help lead the chapter’s event strategy and execution.

If you can’t find me at work, I’m probably shopping for vintage clothing to add to my closet. I always keep a second wardrobe in my car, because you never know when you’ll need a second outfit to save the day. Growing up, I was certain I was going to open up my own bakery, and I make a mean chocolate chip cookie! I’ve always had a major sweet tooth, so it’s no surprise I’m a dessert girl or that I love baking them just as much as I love enjoying them. My happy place is a cozy night in with all the vibes of a classic Italian family dinner. Whether I’m making fresh pasta with my sister or gathering around the table at my grandma’s with all my cousins, you can always count me in!

I got my start in weddings as an intern at Intertwined Events during the summer of 2022. I then returned to San Diego to finish out my senior year at San Diego State University where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with a Specialization in Entrepreneurship. After college, I transitioned into the world of all things Indian weddings. Over nearly two years, I learned the culture, customs, and traditions and assisted in executing show-stopping, luxury Indian & multi-ethnic weddings. In true full circle fashion, I made my way back to Intertwined where I am beyond excited to continue providing top tier service to our clients, utilizing my love of structure, detail, and organization.

Life is all about balance! I love to run marathons but never say no to rosé. I love to travel, but most often I'm at home hosting friends and family. I fully believe in celebrating every moment - big or small - and you better believe I'm designing a Canva invite for each and every occasion. My happy place is Carmel, California where I got married in 2020 (pandemic bride, whoo hoo!). My latest adventure has been motherhood and it's the very best era yet! I'm attached at the hip to my daughter, Riley, and daily coffee walks to Hola Adios are my jam! Vanilla almond milk latte, yes please!

Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, my first job was working weddings in Napa at Auberge du Soleil. It was there I caught the event "bug" and decided I absolutely had to work in luxury weddings. After graduating from Loyola Marymount University with a degree in Communications, I moved to Orange County and worked for several luxury resort properties including Montage Laguna Beach and The Ranch at Laguna Beach. I supported hundreds of guests in planning their most memorable events each year. The venue search process can be overwhelming for many, but it brings me the most joy to help couples find their venues. I strive to make the whole process fun, memorable and entirely stress-free!
